This lesson will focus on financial content that is appropriate for elementary and middle school students, along with free curricula for these grade levels. The featured resources will include ones intended for use with language arts and math instruction as well as standalone lessons. This session is appropriate for grade K to 8 educators and administrators.

From tried and true favorites to newer games, this session will explore ways to use games in your classroom to both engage students and spark rich conversations. Hilary Hunt, director of the Making Cents Project, will lead this session with ideas for incorporating hands-on games in your classroom, including some that can be printed or use budget-friendly basics like dice and playing cards. This session is appropriate for 6-12 educators.

Get the latest information on new K-12 personal finance standards proposed by the State Board of Education, along with preliminary information about the newly legislated personal finance graduation requirement.
